The Xsenser Pro-SI records temperature and relative humidity at short intervals for precise monitoring of even the most perishable of merchandise.
Short interval sampling is especially applicable to cold chain handling and transport of high value and super sensitive products.
In addition, the Xsenser Pro-SI is ideal for monitoring forced air cooling of fresh produce pallets. When placed inside a carton deep in the constructed pallet, the Xsenser Pro-SI provides cooling operators with an amazingly accurate picture of the temperature (and relative humidity) of the immediate environment of the produce. Sampling approximately every 10 minutes means that risk of overshooting (products that are overcooled) or undershooting (products that are undercooled and loaded too warm) are minimized. Needless to say, optimization of cooling regimes with the Xsenser Pro-SI translates into meaningful energy savings.
The Xsenser Pro-SI is available with or without a pulp probe.

With Xsenser Pro-P pre-cooling operators can optimize their cooling regimes, fine tune cooling times and save on energy expenses.
The Xsense System was developed to offer cold chain managers a comprehensive tool for improved performance through all stages of the cold supply chain. For fresh produce, the first, and extremely critical, stage of the long multi-link chain is pre-cooling of pallets at the pack house. Making sure that all fruit and vegetables—even those packed in the center of the pallet—are cooled to recommended temperature is essential to delivering top quality produce at the other end of the cold chain.
The Xsenser Pro-P consists of a single use temperature probe attached to an Xsenser temperature and relative humidity (RH) sensor unit. As with the original Xsensers, data is automatically transmitted via wireless communications to the Xsense system where users can immediately view the information onscreen.
Because there is no need to remove the disposable Xsenser Pro-P after pre-cooling, it can be used to monitor temperature of fruit deep within the pallet. As Xsense monitored pallets travel through the various links of the cold chain: cooling, loading, transport, receiving, and distribution, the Xsenser Pro-P continues to monitor and report temperature of fruit pulp as well as relative humidity inside the carton. |
